Accommodations

This page features hostels, hotels and camping sites in Cologne for those of you who would like to sleep in a comfortable bed. When booking a bed at either of those hotels, it would be nice if you’d mention Evoke, so maybe next year we get some better prices for you. All the locations are marked on the map below.

Leonardo Hotel

The Leonardo Hotel is a few minutes of walking away from the party location and offers you doubles and singles including breakfast at a price of 60 Euros for a single and 75 Euros for a double room per night.

PhiLeRo

The PhiLeRo is a bit more expensive and will offer you doubles at 90 Euros and single rooms at 45 Euros per person and night, both including breakfast. The hotel is located about five minutes walking distance away from the Abenteuerhallen and thus gives you a good possibility to sleep in a decent bed nearby.

B&B Hotel Köln-Messe & Köln-Airport

One subway stop away from the Location (of 2km if you don’t mind walking) is B&B Hotel Köln-Messe. They offer simple rooms for up to three persons. A double room is at 169 Euro for the weekend (excluding breakfast).

Even cheaper is B&B Hotel Köln-Airport which offers the same double room at 115 Euro. That hotel is a little farer away but still the location can easily be reached with public transport (one stop using the tram).

Ibis Budget Köln Porz

Former Etap hotel is now called Ibis Budget Köln Porz and is just one tram stop away from the location. It offers both double and tripe bed rooms at prices starting at 45 Euro per night. An optional breakfast is available.

Youth Hostel Köln-Deutz

The Jugendherberge Köln-Deutz is located next to the Köln-Deutz/Messe train station which is not too far from the partyplace. It can be reached by commuter train (S-Bahn) from the partyplace within about 10 minutes or by foot in about 20 minutes. The prices vary between 30 Euros for a bed in a dormitory hall to 62 Euros for a single room. You can also book a family room.

Station Hostel

The Station Hostel is still one of the least expensive places to stay in Cologne. A bit farther away from the location but within the center of Cologne and you can get to the partyplace by public transport in less than half an hour.

Camping

If you would like to go camping during Evoke, there is a nice camping site close to the river Rhine. It is a little outside the city, about 4 km to the south. Find out more on their website.

Sleeping inside the spaces of Kalk

As you know, Evoke offers no sleeping in the skate-hall this year. But we managed to find places in a friends hackerspace nearby the evoke-party hall. Expect around place for about 20 people to sleep in a very good “sleeping inside the hall” feeling.
